Pushing the boundaries and thinking differently is nothing new to Vans surfers Alex Knost (from Costa Mesa, California) and Lee-Ann Curren (from Biarritz, France). Their “outside-the-lines” way of thinking, both on a wave and off, has come to life in a new, genderless, head-to-toe collection from Vans. Alex and Lee-Ann worked together to design a collection that not only continues to drive progression with product, but also inclusivity. It’s no surprise that they chose to put their mark on our brand new Circle Vee. Vans looked at every little bit that goes into making a shoe and made adjustments—from the one-piece knitted natural upper to the all-new, sculpted for all-day comfort, EcoCush™ biofoam drop-in midsole and the full-length EcoWaffle™ rubber outsole. We even developed new construction methods to reduce glues and excess material. As part of this collection, we’re also partnering with the Ocean Conservancy, a global organization focused on protecting the oceans we love and enjoy, and will be donating $1 for every Circle Vee product sold, with a minimum of $25,000 donated to the Tides Foundation. Alex and Lee-Ann wanted to make a collection that everyone can enjoy and feel good wearing. Mission accomplished.
